Psychic Fair

The Universal Mind Science Church Psychic Fair has been a tradition in the Long Beach area for over 35 years. Our Readers and Healers offer; Mediumship, Tarot Cards, Chiropractic, Reiki, Astrology, Thai Yoga Message, Clairvoyance, Energy Balancing and more.

Our Readers and Healers are of the highest quality. They have years of training and experience. Working with our organization they have established a environment of love and healing with our attendees as well a wide range of life long friendships.

Our Psychic Fair is held January through October on the fourth (4th) Saturday of every month and in November on the third (3rd) Saturday. December is Dark.

Doors open at 9:30 AM for appointment scheduling. Appointments are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A reading session is 20 minutes in length and cost $20.00 for each appointment. Body therapy sessions are 30 minute for $30.00. Chiropractic sessions are 40 minutes and $40.00.

Dr. Clay Miller
Chiropractor

Dr. Miller has mastered techniques including the Fascia System and Visceral Manipulation making him more than just a “Back Cracker”. He has over 20 years of experience and has helped hundreds of people just like you remove chronic pain from their daily lives. Dr. Miller developed his own unique technique which he has dubbed “Millerwork Therapy”. This system of comprehensive total body healing combines all his experience and education creating a complete healing experience for his clients. A session with Dr. Clay is 40 minutes.

Ed Mortimer
Medium

Ed began attending A Spiritualist Gathering in 1996; shortly thereafter he began taking a Mediumship Development class with Rev. Kathleen Vance. He found that he could get evidential messages from Spirit and began honing his abilities at A Spiritualist Gathering. He also sat in many circles all over Southern California in order to further develop his abilities. Ed has been contributing his time and talents to UMS’s Psychic Fair for many years and has developed quite a following. He gets spiritual guidance from, A Course in Miracles. He is a mental medium who mostly gives messages from loved ones. If requested, he can also give messages from guides and teachers.

Bette Hackett
Astrologer

Originally from Chicago, Bette has practiced Astrology for 39 years. Besides being an Astrologer, she is also a pet companion. She is a great friend to many, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She resides in Long Beach, which she loves. A practitioner of astrology is called an astrologer or an astrologist. Bette will give you, in your 20 minute session, a summery of your sun sign and a short reading. As Bette puts it; an introduction to one’s self through one’s sun sign and slow moving planet's as well as information on the year ahead.

Bruce Towe
Tarot

Bruce has been blessed with strong intuition and empathy all of his life; often sensing things that no one else around him could. In 2004, a very special person introduced him to Tarot, where he found a tool for focusing his gifts, and more importantly, a means to share those gifts with others. He has been doing readings for others since that time.

Bruce is an “intuitive” reader, meaning that he has a strong sense for the answers that are most important for a person during a reading. He is sensitive to the situation of whoever he reading for and always seeks to share the answers in a way that provides guidance, and benefits their life at the moment.

Vicki is a Reiki Master, Non-Denominational Minister, and Urban Shaman. With her diverse expertise in Reiki, traditional psycho therapeutic techniques, and shamanic training Vicki, has developed a unique, multi-faceted approach to healing. She has healed her own arthritis, ulcers, cysts, fibroids, tumors, and migraines. She has facilitated the healing of breast cancer, various forms of tumors, and multiple sclerosis in others. Richard Rawson
Thai Yoga Body Therapy

Richard Rawson is a certified Thai Yoga Body therapist. Thai yoga is an ancient form of healing. Like yoga, it is a complex sequence of stretches, expressive twists, joint movements and manipulations, and soft tissue pressing. It creates a communication between the mind and body, and promotes a sense of peace and tranquility in all areas of life. Thai yoga can rejuvenate and create renewed energy by increasing flexibility, improving mobility, and reducing stiffness. It can provide relief from aches, pains and tensions and eventually aid the body's alignment and posture. Richard has been able to help people find their fullest potential physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Richard is a private practitioner; he does one-hour home visits performing Thai Yoga message. He is also currently doing group Yoga classes at UMS.

David O'Day
Clairvoyant

David O’Day is a natural born spiritual psychic. At age 15 he was giving classmates, friends, and parents of classmates, readings by looking at them and seeing their auras and the energy around them. Being amazingly accurate with his then subjects, David was encouraged by his mother and grandmother to use his special gifts to help others on their life’s journey. David has now been doing readings and teaching meditation classes for over 40 years.
